Key Achievements
• Selected for the Nurturing Future Leadership Programme (2025) under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme, Ministry of Education, Government of India. Successfully completed a five-day residential leadership programme at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sambalpur.
• 10+ years of teaching experience in Sociology across leading institutions including, Jadavpur University (Kolkata), Anjaneya University (Raipur), Amity University (Kolkata), Rani Birla Girls’ College (Kolkata), Muralidhar Girls’ College (Kolkata) and Gurudas College (Kolkata), teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Served as Head, School of Arts and Humanities at Anjaneya University, contributing to academic administration and curriculum development.
• Experience in both higher education and school education, having taught Social Science Faculty at Amity International School, Raipur, strengthening interdisciplinary teaching and pedagogical engagement with diverse learners.
• Actively involved in organizing academic events as Organising Secretary and Co-Convenor of national and international conferences.
• Published 10+ research papers in UGC-CARE and Web of Science indexed journals addressing themes related to gender, society, technology, and culture.
• Author of the undergraduate Sociology textbook Gender and Society designed for BA students.
• Editor of the academic volume Media in Today’s World: Exploring the Digital Landscape.
• Contributed seven book chapters in edited volumes published by national and international publishers.
• Book chapter published with Routledge–Taylor & Francis, contributing to global scholarship on gender and society.
• Contributed as a course writer for Self Learning Materials (SLMs) for Netaji Subhas Open University.
• Co-inventor of a registered design with the Patent Office, Government of India for the “Classroom Social Interaction Monitoring Device”, demonstrating interdisciplinary innovation in educational technology and social research.
• Copyright holder of the work “Device for Identifying and Visualizing Social Interaction Patterns in Classroom or Group Settings” registered under the Copyright Act, 1957 (Government of India).
• Delivered keynote lectures and invited talks at national and international conferences and academic forums.
• Served as Session Chair and Speaker in international conferences organized in Thailand, UAE, Japan, and the United States (hybrid/virtual mode).
• Presented research papers in All India Sociological Conferences and international academic platforms.
• Trainer and Resource Person for research methodology workshops organized by Commacad, Nucleus of Learning and Development, and DigiSkill India.
• Conducted workshops on qualitative research methods, thematic analysis, hypothesis development, research interviews, and case study writing.
